Debt Elimination - The Unexpected Part of the American Dream
61
For who knows how long, debt elimination has become the all-too-attached shadow of the "American Dream". It is sort of the ne'er-do-well by-product of the whole pursuit. Its a necessary evil to all, but a growing concern for more and more people, especially homeowners.
As people ease into society as adults, becoming more and more productive, its always to achieve one thing...that storybook American Dream...owing your own home - an independent dream life with all the trimmings. As we all strive to reach this incredible goal, efforts and energies are focused into doing whatever is necessary without much thought being given to the long-term effects of our purpose driven lives.
For once that American Dream is met, we're left with a lot of growing debt.
Try to ignore the cheesy rhyme scheme there, and re-read that sentence for the plain, hard, real truth that it is.
For the most part...for everyday, hard-working folks like you and I, there is a Part II to the "Dream". And thats the long, big payoff.
The debt elimination.
Now, Im not breaking this down for you to keep you from your goals, or to make you regret what you have achieved.
I simply want to raise awareness about the reality of the situation to bring to light what you may already realize is such an important part of the "Dream", just perhaps realized in a different context.
The point is this: effective debt elimination is key to the realization of your dreams.
You have to know how to get rid of it in order to fully live that American Dream.
How close are you? Ever look at it this way? Need help?
Please...let me know what you think about my thoughts on debt elimination and stay in touch.
